PRESCRIPTION

Prescription medication

Our doctors can prescribe the medication below during your visit. Prices fall the more months you are prescribed at once, so if you are visiting Japan and want a longer supply, say so at the consultation.

IMPORTANT FOR VISITORS

Our delivery service covers addresses in Japan only, and we cannot post medication overseas. Medication is dispensed at the clinic for you to take home. If you are staying in a hotel and would like delivery there, please read the conditions in the FAQ before booking — we cannot specify a delivery date, and we cannot refund medication that could not be received.

Rules on bringing prescription medication into your own country vary and are your responsibility to check before travelling. We can provide a prescription document on request. Some countries restrict the import of certain medications regardless of a prescription.

Before prescribing

The doctor will ask about your medical history and any medication you currently take. Please bring details, including the names of anything prescribed in your own country. Some of these medications are not approved in Japan for the use described, or are not approved at all; the approval status of each is explained at the consultation.

Blood tests

Isotretinoin requires blood tests before and during treatment. If you are visiting for a short period, tell us at booking so we can advise whether this is practical within your stay.

Please note

Results vary between individuals. This is elective private treatment and is not covered by Japanese national health insurance.
