Advanced treatments
from Japan & Korea
The treatments below are the ones patients most often travel for. Each originated in, or was popularised by, clinics in Seoul and Tokyo, and each works on the quality of the skin rather than its shape. They can be combined, and most fit comfortably into a short stay.
What these have in common
- They rebuild rather than fill. Nothing is added for volume — the skin is prompted to produce its own collagen.
- Results build over weeks. Expect a gradual change rather than an immediate one, with a course of three to five sessions.
- Little visible downtime. Small injection marks for a day or two at most.
- They combine well. Often performed alongside botulinum toxin or laser in the same visit.
TreatmentsFOUR
Exosomes
Concentrated signalling factors from stem cell culture. One of the most requested regenerative treatments in Seoul and Tokyo, used to improve overall skin condition rather than a single concern.
Skin Boosters
Injectables developed in Korea that prompt the skin to build its own collagen. Different from filler — nothing is added for shape; the skin's quality is rebuilt over a course.
Water Shine Injection
Known in Korea as the treatment behind the 'glass skin' look. Product is distributed evenly across the whole face at a shallow depth.
LHALA Doctor Peel
A clinic-only peel formulated so the active molecules penetrate slowly. It does not cause the flaking associated with older peels and can be combined with laser on the same day.
Before you book
Some of the products used in these treatments have not been approved under Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act. They are imported personally by the doctor under that Act. Where a domestically approved equivalent exists, we will tell you at your consultation.
Please note
Long-term safety and efficacy data for regenerative treatments such as exosomes has not yet been fully established. If you would like to proceed, we ask that you do so with this understood. Results vary between individuals and no particular outcome can be guaranteed. This is elective private treatment and is not covered by Japanese national health insurance.
